Anna i Piotr
Anna i Piotr Angiel – EMBROIDERY
Anna and Piotr are a husband-and-wife team based in Calgary, creating modern landscape embroidery inspired by their shared love of art and nature. Originally from Poland, they moved to Canada in 2009 and made Calgary their home – drawn in by its proximity to the Canadian Rockies, their greatest artistic inspiration.
Anna brings her passion for interior design, oil painting, and artistic sewing to their creative process, while Piotr contributes his eye for detail through landscape photography, watercolours, and drawings inspired by his backcountry hikes.
Together, they transform the beauty of mountain valleys, glacial lakes, wildflowers, and other natural landmarks into intricate embroidery art. Their work features the Canadian Rockies, the Cascade and West Coast mountains, and the arid highlands of Utah and Arizona – each piece carrying a personal connection and a story of a place they love.

Eva
Eva Kaiser – PAINTING
After completing her Master’s degree in architecture and urban design at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Eva took on the role of a university researcher and teaching assistant at her alma mater. Once she moved to Canada, she worked at major architectural companies in Calgary. The pandemic paradoxically opened a new door that allowed her to dedicate all her time to her true passion. Time seemingly stopped, and she finally could hold a paintbrush without a time limit. She considers art a never-ending work in progress: a glimpse into the artist’s mind, and an infinite journey of self-discovery.She perfectly aligns her artistic path as a painter with the words:“I don’t know. I’m not sure. I’m still thinking. I’m still working”. (Gerhard Richter)
Michał
Mike (Michał) Maciaszek– PHOTOGRAPHY
In 2013, Mike moved to Canada from Poland, embarking on a new chapter in his life. Here, he discovered his passion for photography, which has grown year by year since 2015. Photography has not only become his biggest passion, but also a profound source of meaning in his life. Spending more time in nature, he realized the positive impact it had on his mental health. Over time, as his photography skills evolved, so did his understanding of its deeper purpose: to inspire others to reconnect with the natural world. In 2022, he organized his first exhibition on this topic. Now, two years later, he is excited to present a more engaging and impactful experience with “Reconnect: The Healing Power of Nature”. Attendees of “Reconnect” can expect a multi-sensory experience that goes beyond the visual, engaging sound, scent, and touch.
